Riassunto

Ernst and Sally meet at the wedding of their gay fathers. The homophobic president of a small New England college attempts to stop gay marriages on campus. Second-generation Indian immigrants are almost wed then discover they have the same DNA mom, but they are pregnant.

Meanwhile, a feisty and angry octogenarian dumped in a retirement home faces her birthday alone, and is saved by a feisty teenager, and in another scene, a young girl gets the “special gift” of monthly bleeding.

In this volume of thirteen scenes from stage plays, writers from USA and Canada introduce us to some startling characters and preposterous situations bordering on farce. We are taken from New York - a city park and a nursing home in the Catskill Mountains – to the state of Tamil Nadu, South India.

Student actors will revel in the challenges and discoveries in these scenes, veering from gentle humor to biting farce.
