Wild About Guitars is an essential resource for guitar teachers. Aural, creative, notation and ensemble activities are clearly described, with step-by-step guidance. Pupils will develop their love of music making, and will progress in all areas of instrumental learning, working first with two notes and one finger chords, then five notes and two finger chords, then eight notes and three finger chords.

Ruth Wild M.Ed. is a highly respected instrumental teacher. She has had many years of experience in supporting and managing teachers across all disciplines and genres. This has included observing, advising, and providing learning resources. She has delivered training across England for a variety of organisations involved in music education, and was involved in the writing of A Common Approach (2002). Her work is informed by her extensive career in music education, her own academic research, and an eclectic performing portfolio, including orchestras, ceilidh bands and folk rock groups.
