Gareth once enjoyed a life that seemed almost perfect, a reality he didn't fully appreciate until a freak accident resulted in a severe head injury, leaving him grappling with debilitating epilepsy. This would change his life forever. What followed was a systematic loss of everything he knew: his health, his job, his friends, his marriage and very nearly his life.
In those darkest of times, Gareth found solace in his childhood passion for the outdoors and physical fitness. This deep-rooted love became his guiding light as he battled against depression and the challenges epilepsy imposed on his life. Gareth's journey back to health is the embodiment of courage, perseverance and triumph of the human spirit.
In his own words, Gareth speaks of resilience, determination and the healing potential found within ourselves when faced with life's greatest challenges. There are tales of adventure, endurance and monumental comebacks. Reminding us that the strength to rise again can be discovered through the pursuits that ignite our souls, even when it appears that all hope is lost.
