I conceived and produced this manual as a natural continuation of my previous one entitled "Model Making: A Visual Course" in which I explained how to make models of artistic-decorative elements and their relative silicone rubber molds.
Now with this new manual, I will teach you how to use polyester resin, how to pour it into silicone rubber molds, and thus achieve the reproduction of the models created in the previous course.
We will use resin combined with dyes and mixed with various materials to create spectacular and ever-new effects, the only limit is our imagination and desire to experiment. As a matter of fact, polyester resin can be mixed with or incorporate an infinite number of materials such as mineral, metallic, and vegetable powders or granulates, dyes, small objects, and so on.
As usual, I will show you all the steps of the process through lots of commented photos, so that everything is as clear as possible. Unlike my previous manuals, where the photos were in black and white, this one will have color photos, precisely to show the beautiful effects that can be achieved with these materials.
