'I have ADHD too' is a colourful and child friendly short story about children and adults who have ADHD.
ADHD can present differently in different people and we each have our own strengths and weaknesses. It can be difficult to understand why we do things differently to others and this can lead to us becoming frustrated and overwhelmed.
Learning to identify ADHD characteristics in yourself can lead to a better understanding not only for you but also in educating others.
This book is intended for primary school aged children who may have ADHD and may also have a parent, friend or family member with ADHD.
About the Author
I’m a neurodivergent mother of three, with two of my children having Autism and ADHD respectively. Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD and Autism myself led to struggles at school and at home. Understanding neurodiversity through my own experience, research and through recognising characteristics in my children, has enabled me to better support them but also to advocate for them better throughout their education and daily life.
Having no formal qualifications in neurodiversity my book is meant for informational purposes only and is based on personal experience.
