Sinossi

The book you hold in your hands is the culmination of five

years of dedicated effort. This work is based on interviews with individuals

instrumental in the development of the Russian Cultural Centre in Washington, DC (RCC), alongside comprehensive

analyses of both primary and secondary sources. For this edition, we

utilized the archives of the RCC and materials from Lloyd Costley, head

of the FRCC (Friends of RCC) - such as Professor Fogle P. D.'s research sourced from the

RCC library. This edition also features a rich collection of photographic

materials in both digital and paper formats. RIA Novosti generously

provided historical pictures on a charitable basis, while additional images

were purchased from Alamy and Adobe Stock, with full licensing and rights

reserved. Photos downloaded from the Library of Congress website are

marked with the monogram © librarycongress. The visuals included works

by the author Igor Ukhankin (Content) and Daria Anisimova (Present).

Limitations. The author intentionally refrained from making value

judgments or delving into the political circumstances surrounding the

development of the Centre, particularly over the last decade. These issues

were beyond the scope of this study and did not align with the author's

objectives.
