You can't lead others until you're aligned with yourself.
Carry Your Own Impact is the leadership playbook forged not in theory, but in real conversations, real workplaces, and real people -- from a licensed clinical social worker who brought mental health coaching into one of the most unlikely industries imaginable and watched it transform an entire culture.
Holly Schneider spent decades in clinical practice before stepping into corporate life, where she discovered a hard truth: most leadership advice ignores the head-heart connection entirely. It teaches logic, not emotional intelligence. Behavior, not the beliefs driving it. The result? Leaders who manage but never truly connect -- and cultures that quietly erode from the inside out.
This book hands you the tools to do it differently. You'll learn to spot the "culture killers" hiding in plain sight, understand why intent is never the same as impact, and build the emotional skills that turn conflict-avoidance into trust. With chapters on trauma-informed leadership, impostor syndrome, the "Alignment GPA," and a full toolbox of top-five frameworks for communication, focus, and organizational well-being, this isn't abstract management theory -- it's a field-tested system built from thousands of real coaching conversations.
Funny, blunt, and refreshingly human, Holly writes the way she coaches: with humor, vulnerability, and zero patience for corporate nonsense.
If you're ready to lead with alignment instead of agenda, pick up your own backpack -- and start carrying your impact forward.
