Sinossi
The Songbird Three è un libro creato da, e per, l"immaginazione di un bambino. Si tratta di tre uccelli. Si tratta di un giardino. Parla di un albero e di un nido con un posto per me e te. Riguarda la canzone che cantano gli uccelli canori, insieme e come uno.
Il Songbird Three è stato ispirato da tre cose. Innanzitutto, la poesia di una bambina (la madre dell'autore) quando era in terza elementare. Quella poesia rimase nascosta nel diario dell'autore fino a molti anni dopo, quando divenne questo libro. In secondo luogo, era l'idea un po' folle che forse il posto migliore per la misteriosa dottrina cristiana della Trinità, che è stata pensata e combattuta per anni, era nell'immaginazione di un bambino. La terza ispirazione per questo libro sono state le antiche raffigurazioni della Santissima Trinità di artisti che avrebbero lasciato intenzionalmente uno spazio per l'ingresso dello spettatore. A volte uno specchio, in modo che lo spettatore potesse vedersi seduto/in piedi/ballare con il Padre, il Figlio e lo Spirito Santo.
Il Songbird Three è stato scritto per essere accessibile a tutte le età. I personaggi e le strutture luminosi e intricati di questo libro sono intenzionalmente impostati su uno sfondo minimale. L'intento è quello di dare all'immaginazione del bambino lo spazio per correre selvaggio.

First and foremost, the poem of a little girl (the author's mother) when she was in third grade. That poem stayed tucked away in the author's journal until many years later when it became this book. Second, was the somewhat crazy idea that maybe the best place for the mysterious Christian doctrine of the Trinity, that's been thought about and fought over for years, was in the imagination of a child. The third inspiration for this book was ancient depictions of the Holy Trinity by artists who would intentionally leave a space for the viewer to enter in. Sometimes a mirror, so that the viewer could see themselves sitting/standing/dancing with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.The Songbird Three was written to be accessible for all ages. The bright and intricate characters and structures in this book are intentionally set against a minimal backdrop. The intent being to give the child's imagination the space to run wild.The Songbird Three was written to spark imagination and start dialogue.
