Cosa succede quando questi sistemi ci falliscono? Perché hanno fallito? Come possiamo cambiare gli esiti apparentemente negativi, anche quando facciamo tutto secondo quelle che riteniamo essere le scelte giuste? Il fallimento fa parte della vita, ma continuare a fallimenti e inseguire sogni che non si realizzano mai non lo è. Le risposte sul perché i successi, e spesso la felicità, sembrano così sfuggenti è dove ci porta il viaggio di questo flusso di coscienza scritto.
L'autore usa esperienze personali, scritture e un salto nell'ombra all'interno della sua anima, dove la maggior parte non si azzarderà a rispondere perché falliamo e cosa succede quando accettiamo perché lui - e tanti altri - ha seguito le strade corrette, eppure è finito così profondamente perso.
