RESUMEN La principal contribución de esta obra es reflejar la mayoría de los aspectos que un profesional de la Atención Infantil Temprana puede trabajar, tanto teóricos como prácticos, relativos a la evaluación e intervención ―en el niño que presenta algún trastorno o riesgo de tenerlo― y al contexto familiar y social. Se presentan los principales recursos de intervención a través de las redes de apoyo social y las familias dentro del marco de trabajo de esta disciplina, que se aborda interdisciplinarmente contando con diferentes profesionales del ámbito de la psicología, logopedia y fisioterapia. SUMMARY The main contribution of this work is to reflect most of the aspects that an Early Childhood Care professional can work on, both theoretical and practical, related to the assessment and intervention ―in the child who presents a disorder or risk of having it― as well as to the family and social context. The main intervention resources are presented through social support networks and families within the framework of this discipline, which is approached in an interdisciplinary way with different professionals from the fields of psychology, speech therapy and fisiotherapy.
