ISMIS is a conference series that was started in 1986 in Knoxville, Tennessee. SincethenithasbeenheldinCharlotte(NorthCarolina),Knoxville(Tennessee), Torin (Italy), Trondheim (Norway), Warsaw (Poland), Zakopane (Poland), and Lyon (France).
