Riassunto:
Alfa Romeo is a marque with a history embellished with racing trophies and a reputation for manufacturing quality cars. This book is concerned with three lines - the Spider, the Alfasud and the Alfetta - each with their roots in the same succesful model, the Alfa Romeo Guilietta. Each car is closely examined for attributes and faults, there are comparisons with contemporaries, road tests and guidance on what to look for when buying. The book includes specifications and biographies of the men behind the cars. Other work by the author includes "As Old as the Industry", which won the Society of Automotive Historians' Cugnot Award, and "Sporting Rileys", which won an Award of Distinction from the same body. He also wrote "Alfa Romeo - the Legend Revived".
