This book is concerned with three lines - the Spider, the Alfasud and the Alfetta - each with their roots in the same succesful model, the Alfa Romeo Guilietta. The book includes specifications and biographies of the men behind the cars. Other work by the author includes "As Old as the Industry", which won the Society of Automotive Historians' Cugnot Award, and "Sporting Rileys", which won an Award of Distinction from the same body. He also wrote "Alfa Romeo - the Legend Revived".
