He holds appointments as Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Davis, Professor of Allergy and Immunology at Nova Southeastern University, and Professor of Pediatrics at Florida Atlantic and Florida International Universities. His research focuses on immunodysregulation, primary immunodeficiencies, autoimmunity, epigenetics, atopic dermatitis, and food allergy, with a special interest in artificial intelligence in medicine. He serves as Medical Director of Pediatric Research at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and is Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Reviews in Allergy and Immunology and the Journal of Evidence-based Integrative Medicine. He is a Fellow of the AAAAI and a Regent of the ACAAI.
