Stated "First Carroll & Graf edition 2001", unknown printing due to absence of a number line. Hardcover in unclipped dustjacket. 9-1/4" tall, 354 numbered pages includes "Notes on Sources", "Archive Sources" and "Index". This book is nearly pristine: it is square, spotlessly clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings with undamaged spine ends; there is a 3/4" x 1/8" discoloration on bottom of rear board; hinges are strong. The interior is perfectly clean and completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and any sort of paper damage. Not remaindered or ex-library. The dust jacket is clean and free of tears, scratches, scrapes, and fading; jacket is now protected by mylar jacket. There is no price on the jacket, suggesting maybe a BCE; but there is nothing on the jacket to suggest such a situation nor is there any 'slug' on the rear board, so I am rather confident in saying that this is not a Book Club edition.
