Applied Innovations in Information and Communication Technology

This book highlights the most important research areas in Information and Communication Technologies and their impact on digital society and environment sustainable development namely the research in fields of information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence in ICT, data analytics, security of data and services, reducing energy consumption in the digital environment, and mathematical modeling for practical and research tasks in communication and data processing fields provided by various groups of researchers from Germany and Ukraine in cooperation with scientists from different countries. The presented studies contain a discussion on the use of artificial intelligence, in particular, methods of deep learning, practical implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT), the modern study of ECO monitoring systems; research in fields of mathematical modeling in applied problems. The book focuses on the basics of information and analytical activities in the digital global space, to providing broadband Internet access without decreasing the quality of experience (QoE) level, improving services providing, and system architecture for SDN. The study of modern communication and information technologies contains original works dealing with many aspects of their improvement and use for forecasting social and environment sustainable development based on global information space, as well as research that contains actual papers, which show some effective technological solutions that can be used for the implementation of novel cloud infrastructure and radio electronics systems. These results can be used in the implementation of novel systems and to promote the exchange of information in e-societies.   Given its scope the book offers a valuable resource for scientists, lecturers, specialists working at enterprises, graduate and undergraduate students who engage with problems in Information and Communication Technologies as well as aspects of society and environment sustainable development.

Stanislav Dovgyi is the Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Habilitation, Eng). The main areas of scientific research are computational mathematics; mathematical modeling; computational and physical experiments; geodynamics of the environment; and information and communication technologies.

Eduard Siemens is full Professor of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Doctor of Engineering, Head of the Doctoral Center for Engineering and Information Technologies, and Director of Anhalt International University. The main areas of research encompass communication networks, cybersecurity, and advanced digital solutions, with a strong focus on innovations in network technologies, big data analytics, and the development of smart infrastructure systems. Prof. Siemens actively engages in international research collaborations, spearheading projects that focus on advancing digital education and fostering academic partnerships. 

Larysa Globa is full Professor of National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Doctor of Technical Science (Habilitation, Eng). The fields of research are the development of corporate intelligence production systems, management systems, portal solutions; tools for distributed information systems development; parallel computing; technologies of big data processing in a distributed environment and artificial intelligence, web service technologies, and cloud computing.

Oleh Kopiika is Corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences (Habilitation, Eng), Professor. The main directions of scientific research are computer science, information and communication technologies, management systems, service-oriented information systems, cloud computing, and GIS/DZZ technologies.

Oleksandr Stryzhak is full Professor, Doctor of Science (Habilitation, Eng). The main areas of scientific research: transdisciplinary of networked information resources, systems and processes, linguistic and information studies of the cognitive properties of large arrays of unstructured (natural) information, conceptual modeling of complex processes of intertextual interaction of texts, linguistic status of artificial intelligence systems, discursive uncertainty, cognitive processes of linguistic and conceptual analysis, cognitive and communicative decision-making processes.
