You are the new pastor (or member) of a rural church. You will either hear the words, “You’re not from around here, are you?” -OR- you will experience the sensation of not being able to fit in to your new environment. Either way, you will find that your new church is special. It is different. Your church will have its own particular traditions and its own distinctive personality.
