This book is about capturing moments in life in the form of photographs, phrases or poetry. I hope though is that this book will speak to you on a deeper level. I trust that you will find meaning in the photographs and words that you are about to see and read. I hope that you will draw inspiration from what you read and find your sanctuary in the chaos of life's tests and trials.

My name is Elena ( Helen ) Calligeris. I am a qualified photographer. The inspiration for my work is from the beauty I see around me and the dynamics between our emotional and spiritual world. I experienced a true life transformation at age 18 where I discovered that God is real. Throughout my life since then I have felt a deep conviction to relate many of my experiences into photographs and in return hopefully inspire others to search for deeper meaning in the midst of lives tests and trials. The poetic aspect of my work is a reflection of my life's experiences on how the images unlock my internal world. I am also a professional Pilates and fitness instructor and believe that physical and emotional health stem from a healthy body.
