What if your entire life up until now has simply been R & D-Research and Development-for the BIGGER game you have yet to play?
What if nothing in your past was wasted and your entire life has been timed and organized for exactly this moment?
What if the only start that matters is the one you're making right now?
Approaching middle age and mired in a half-million-dollar custody suit, Darrell Gurney sat in his chair late one evening watching his eight-year-old son sleeping and wondered if he had epically failed at living. Career chaos, divorce, and a desperate fight to stay in his boy's life-what did he have to show for his first forty years? His answer, inspired by his real story, you now hold in your hands. It can help you find your answers too.
Winner of the esteemed Nautilus Award for Aging Consciously, Darrell Gurney's The Back Forty-an intimate memoir of self-discovery while also a practical guide for midlife revolution-reveals 7 Embraces that will alter every aspect of your life experience and guide you in crafting a bold, fully-expressed future.
You are never who you "are." You are never who you've "been." You are who you're becoming.
In this book, you'll unearth:
- How to transform significant, victim-laced experiences from the past and present to create a free-flying future
- How to take inventory of current-day gifts and values to awaken to the individual you've become and are still becoming
- How to flip the concept of midlife crisis into opportunity and initiation into a second half of your greatest Self-expression
- How to adopt an easy and playful practice of purpose while dropping any heavy and pressured pursuit of it
- How to engage in ego-freeing and availability-enhancing practices to collaborate with a Universal energy at your service and by your side
Considering the enormous costs, struggle and heartache often associated with big midlife changes - whether it be a half-million-dollar custody suit, an expensive divorce, the lost time from an unwanted career change or business failure, or the health challenges brought about by extreme stress - your investment in The Back Forty perspective of your next half/best half of life ahead could be the best investment made in a very long time.
Get The Back Forty and start cultivating your radical, best-half-of-life future today!

Descrizione dello Store
Sharing is the best surprise When we share our excess with others we¿re often surprised by what we feel, what changes in us, and who we get to know in the process. Sharehouse Goods exists to create that experience for as many people as possible. Sharehouse Goods receives excess stuff from individuals or organizations (our sharers), and then we liquidate that stuff, creating jobs for people in Milwaukee. The process is simple: we receive what people are willing to share, and then we sell it online or at our storefront, creating revenue for the sharers (to keep or to donate), and jobs for people who are struggling to find employment. There¿s a lot of sharing going on, and even more surprises, at Sharehouse Goods.…
