This is the book to read if you've ever wanted to understand what real missionary life is like. The book is one of those publications that sometimes appears and acts as a knife to strengthen the soul. Instead of a weapon that causes harm, a skilled surgeon's scalpel is used to exhort and encourage us.

First, Rev Marcia discusses what it means to be a missionary, what it takes to be one, and the many kinds of missionary service we may provide. One of the main reasons it is so beneficial is because the author lays emphasis on missionary duties as a call for every Christian to act out the exceptional vocation of evangelism in the ordinary and daily life in this fallen world as citizens of a kingdom of God. She provides a ton of useful advice throughout the book for readers who are unfamiliar with or attempting to learn more about what it entails to be a missionary.

The author describes what God can accomplish when someone is prepared to leave all behind and go to a place, with people, and with a culture they are unfamiliar with. "The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits," the Bible says. These feats have been documented throughout the history of Christian missions, and God still fulfills His magnificent promises today.
