Very rare complete set of 4 volumes. EEF - Archaeological survey 1, 2, 5 & 7. Trübner & Co, Oxford, 1893-1900. Small folio. Vol. I (1893): frontispiece, xi & 85 pages, 47 plates. Vol. II (1894): frontispiece, viii & 85 pages, 37 plates. Vol. III (1896): frontispiece, iii & 42 pages, 10 plates. Vol. IV (1900): frontispiece, v & 9 pages, 27 plates. Original cloth with boards. Vol. I & IV are 1975 reprints, vol. II & III are first editions. All volumes are in excellent condition, which is rare for first editions of volumes II & III. Covers of volume IV are slightly browned on edges, inside in fine condition. A very nice, unmarked set. From the library of Egyptologist Eric Uphill. Language: English. Rare complete set of 4 volumes in the first edition. EEF - Archaeological survey 1, 2, 5 & 7. Trübner & Co, Oxford, 1893-96. First edition. In-4. Vol. I (1893): frontispiece, xi & 85 pages, 47 plates. Vol. II (1894): frontispiece, viii & 85 pages, 37 plates. Vol. III (1896): frontispiece, iii & 42 pages, 10 plates. Vol. IV (1900): frontispiece, v & 9 pages, 27 plates. All volumes in their original cloth binding with boards. Volume I is rebacked and very rubbed on covers and edges, inside very good. Vol. II and III have humidity stains on the right edge of the boards of both volumes, not affecting the inside of the books which is in excellent condition. Both volumes are from the library of Egyptologist A.J. Mills. Vol. IV is rubbed on edges, otherwise in excellent condition, with an small visit card of Gustave Jéquier inserted. A very good set.
