Informazioni sull?autore: Mark Overmyer-Velázquez is Associate Professor of History and Director of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University of Connecticut. He is the author of Visions of the Emerald City: Modernity, Tradition, and the Formation of Porfirian Oaxaca, Mexico (2006), which won the 2007 Best Book Prize awarded by the New England Council on Latin American Studies.
