Condizione sovraccoperta: VG-Fine. 1st ed. x+430, numerous text figs numbered by chapter; front pastedown has 'Presented by Christopher Poulton', the highly rated Cambridge psychologist, sellotaped to centre pastedown is a folded publisher's review request sheet, front endpaper has stamp of M.R.C. Applied Psychology Unit, Cambridge (to who Poulton donated it) at bottom, their short handwritten accession note at top and their donation label to the short-lived Centre for the History of Psychology collection at Staffordshire University (given c. 2001 when thge MRC Unit underwent major re-organisation and disposed of its collection) the MRC stamp recurs on t.p.,at end text and on rear pastedown. Whether all this is a virtue by being a sort of trace fossil of an episode in disciplinary history or just a usual 'ex-lib.' flaw I cannot say. Otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked in very good jacket, virtually unworn, spine sun-faded from red a yellowish shade except for a circular little lib-label ghost retaining original colour at bottom spine. Seven chapters on various aspects of the topics such as biomechanics, noise climate etc. Uncommon.Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
