Bonny wants to be interesting instead of just weird. She wants her ‘uncles’ to stop telling her what to do. Most of all, she wants to be independent.
Porkington and Swinson know how tough life can be, especially when you start life as a piglet. They just want her to blend in.
When her ‘uncles’ head west for the summer, Bonny gets what she wants.
But her new job isn’t easy. Some of the kids in the orchestra think she doesn’t belong. And the assistant principal is on a mission to seek and destroy!
Will all the obstacles prove to be too much? If Bonny has what it takes to reach her goal, will anyone be there to hear?
This middle-grade book is fun reading for young fans (ages 9 - 12) of the performing arts, adventure, humorous chapter books, friendship, coming-of-age, and problems at work and school. The Porkington's World series includes six children's chapter books featuring piglets-turned-human Porkington, Swinson, and Bonny as they make friends, have adventures, and find their place in the world.

Christmas Hamm: How Porkington Found the Holiday Spirit Porkington wants to enjoy the holiday, but the Scrooge in him is winning out. Even the animals in the live nativity belong on the naughty list! Will Porkington learn to lighten up, or just ruin the holiday for everyone else?
Porkington Hamm and the Killer Tomatoes Mugsy's Cafe is struggling, and Porkington's invitation to cook for the elite "Guild" dinner should give it some much-needed publicity.
