Riassunto:

Da dum, da dum, da dum-it's the sound of a beating drum! If you hear this rhythmic sound, Brave Bunny could be near. One day Brave Bunny sets out to explore the world. He has a whirlwind of a day, experiencing more than he could ever imagine. He learns how tadpoles turn into frogs, he dances like a deer in a meadow, and he makes many new friends. After an exhausting day of exploring and learning, Brave Bunny wants the other animals in the forest to know he is there with them. What could he possibly do to let them know?
Find out in this engaging forest tale! Originally published in 1973 by Golden Gate Junior Books, Gibbs Smith is proud to bring this popular children's tale back into print.
Brought up in rural Wisconsin, Ruth Lercher Bornstein was always drawing. Her paintings are widely exhibited and she is the author-illustrator of several books, including Little Gorilla, Rabbit's Good News, and The Dancing Man. The mother of four grown children, Ruth now lives, draws, writes, walks-and always carries a notebook-in Santa Monica, California.

Dal risvolto di copertina interno: One day a bunny said, "Good-bye, I'm going out into the world." And off he marched, all by himself, into the deep forest. What follows is a series of adventures as the bunny discovers the wonders and dangers of the forest, other animals, and his place in the world. Filled with imagination and imagery, and as free as a spring breeze, Brave Bunny is a gently told tale, gently illustrated in soft yet sunny colors. It is a tale that will spark your child's imagination, as well as your own.
