Andrae, a veteran of The Marine Corps and a pianist in The United States Navy Band of Washington D.C., has performed for the Crown Prince of Norway and countless other government and military officials. He is an accomplished musician, songwriter, producer, author and performer who has performed in Norway, Ireland, Japan, England, France, Egypt, Spain, the U.S. and many other countries.

Andrae Alexander is currently the musical director at Wendy Raquel Robinson’s “Amazing Grace Conservatory” and the musical director and frequent collaborator for the hit songwriter, Emmy and Grammy award winner, Allee Willis (September, Boogie Wonderland, the Color Purple Musical...), with whom he has written the unofficial/official theme song for the city of Detroit titled, “The D”.
