Undated but a document included indicates1942. Size - c. 11 x 8.75 inches, pp. 232 + loose letters, price lists and papers, hardback in publisher's cloth. Book condition - near Very Good ; contents clean, slight tanning of endpapers, no foxing, no inscriptions, inner hinges intact, binding sound ; green cloth with title "Westype" in red on the spine and title "Specimen Book of Type Faces" in red on the front cover ; corners slightly worn but not bent, boards eges good except for a 5 cm loss on the left top edge, back clean with no significant marks, spine complete with ends creased but not split, spine a tad faded but the title remains complete and clear, front with no significant marks and the title complete and clear. No dustjacket - likely none issued. The documents loosely inserted are two letters from Western Typesetting to The Ross Gazette [ Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire ] dated 1942 and 1952, four sheets of Price Lists (dated October 1949, December 1949, October 1950 and April 1951) and 5 sheets of notepaper, three with pencil notes about type and two blank Please see the photos for indications on condition and contents. A scarce example of this book, no other copies found online at the time of this listing. A large heavy book so postage costs outside of the UK will be higher than the standard rates quoted on ABEBooks.
