Cisco Networking Academy Program CCNA 3 and 4 Lab Companion, Third Edition, is the complete collection of labs created for version 3.1 of the CCNA 3: Switching Basics and Intermediate Routing and CCNA 4: WAN Technologies courses in the Cisco Networking Academy® Program.

Each lab is set up with the following features:

• Objective―Identifies the goals that are to be accomplished in the lab.
• Background/Preparation―Provides a list of the equipment needed to run the lab.
• Reflection Questions―As appropriate, the labs include questions that elicit particular points of understanding. These questions help verify your comprehension of the technology being implemented.

This collection of 50 labs provides you with hands-on experience to practice the skills needed for CCNA certification. The material continues your preparation for the CCNA certification exam (640-801, or 640-821 and 640-811).

Keep your completed labs on-hand bound in this book to use as a study guide later or take advantage of the perforated pages to submit the labs to your instructor.

These labs are also referenced in the Cisco Networking Academy Program CCNA 3 and 4 Companion Guide, Third Edition.

As in the course, the CCNA 3 covers switching basics and intermediate routing, including an introduction to Classless Routing, Single-Area OSPF, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Spanning Tree Protocol, Switching concepts and configuration, Virtual LANs, and VLAN Trunking. The CCNA 4 section covers WAN technologies, including scaling IP addresses, Point-to-Point Protocol, and Frame Relay design, configuration, and maintenance.
