The trickster-fey Artagan returns, but does he have something up his sleeves again?

This gorgeous deluxe edition features a beautiful foil-stamped slipcase and cover worthy enough for even the pickiest of fey, along with a gallery-quality lithograph by artist Toby Sharp!

The powerful and mischievous Archfey Artagan, also known as the Traveler, finally gets his day in court—which is the LAST thing he wanted. But since he’s here, he’s happy to tell the Seelie and Unseelie courts how he’s graced the material realms with his knowledge and mentorship. But there are witnesses who may have a different take, and the consequences could be dire.

Writer Sam Maggs, artist Aviv Or, and colorist Diana Sousa bring you a fabulous new story from the world of Exandria, created in consultation with the cast of Critical Role!

Sam Maggs is a New York Times Best Selling author of books, comics, and video games. Her novels include Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars and The Unstoppable Wasp: Built on Hope; she’s written for games like Call of Duty: Vanguard, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and Marvel’s Spider-Man; and her comics and graphic novels include Marvel Action: Captain Marvel, Critical Role: The Mighty Nein Origins, and Tell No Tales: Pirates of the Southern Seas. She is also an on-air host for networks like Nerdist. A Canadian in Los Angeles, she misses Coffee Crisp and bagged milk.

Aviv Or (she/her) is a London-based illustrator specialising in comics and character design. Much of her work is in and around roleplaying games, creating artwork for books, designing characters for streams, and illustrating comics. She is also the co-creator of the TTRPG webcomic Crystal Heart, about – you guessed it – roleplaying games. Her portfolio is at avivor.com, and she shares art and makes silly word games as @avivor on Bluesky.

Cris Peter (June 15, 1983) is a Brazilian colorist. She works mainly for the North American comic book market and has colored over 300 books for several publishers. She was nominated for the Eisner Awards for her colors in the comic book series Casanova in 2012. She was also nominated for an Eisner in 2019 with artists Gustavo Borges for their work on Petals (published by Boom! Studios). In 2013, she published the color theory book O Uso das Cores (The Use of Colors), by Marsupial Editora. She won the Troféu HQ Mix in 2015, 2017 and 2018, in the category "Best Colorist." Currently Cris Peter juggles her colorist career with her independent projects.

Ariana Maher (she/her) is a Brazilian-American letterer who has worked on quite a number of Critical Role comics, including Vox Machina Origins, Mighty Nein Origins and of course Tales of Exandria. Her greatest lettering challenge is telling the difference between Vex and Vax when reading comic book scripts, but she's getting better at it. Her beloved cat is Ames--named after the Ames Lettering Guide. If you're curious about lettering, you can find her at www.arianamaher.com
