Movie version retitled to Decision Before Dawn (1951) Letter from George Howe to the owner of the book (inclosed). Howe wrote: " April 3, 1953 Dear Richard: Thanks for your letter. I am glad you liked 'Call It Treason' The people in it did exist, through of course under other names. Part of the story is made up, and part true - What isn't true, could have been, however. Best luck to you, Sincerely, George Howe." Letter is sold with the book. First edition "Third printing Novemner 1949".
