Paperback. This special edition of 'Camping' was written by Alexandra G. Lockwine, and first published in 1911, making it well over a century old. Although the book is written by a woman, the illustrations feature boys and young men exclusively, but the pastimes and activities, which are mainly sporting pursuits, may interest both boys and girls. The camping information, of course, is useful to all, regardless. The book features sections on Getting Ready, On the Way to Camp, First Day at Camp, Afternoon Sports, Evening Games, Boating, and more. This good, old-fashioned text on camping is a must-read for all those interested in outdoor skills and camping, especially those looking for old-school self-sufficiency information. IMPORTANT NOTE - Please read BEFORE buying! THIS BOOK IS A REPRINT. IT IS NOT AN ORIGINAL COPY. This book is a reprint edition and is a perfect facsimile of the original book. It is not set in a modern typeface and has not been digitally enhanced. As a result, some characters and images might suffer from slight imperfections, blurring, or minor shadows in the page background. This book appears exactly as it did when it was first printed.
