High above the Connecticut River, upon a series of hills known as the ‘Seven Sisters’, sits an enormous stone castle. Its builder, William Hooker Gillette, a preeminent, turn-of-the-century, Stage actor, has made his fortune bringing the fiction sleuth, Sherlock Holmes to American theaters. Now he has gone into semi-retirement and pursues his various interests. Along with his longtime companion, Yukitaka Ozaki, his life is tranquil and complete, away from the bustle of theater life.
Christmas, 1922, approaches and William must use his Sherlockian and theater skills to help Osaki. Old friends and unexpected long-lost relatives converge at the castle for an unforgettable Yuletide experience. This heartwarming Christmas at Gillette’s Castle will bring emotions to the surface, reveal secrets, and open the eyes of everyone involved to the magic of the season.
