The problem is that being good has not been enough. And somewhere in the back of your mind, you are beginning to suspect it never was.
You have watched people with less talent rise faster. You have felt the invisible politics of every room you walked into. You have done everything right — and still found yourself on the wrong side of a decision that should have gone your way.
The Chanakya Power Code is the answer to that gap.
Drawing from Chanakya's 2,300-year-old masterwork, the Arthashastra — the most complete manual of power ever written — this book gives you the map that the modern world forgot to hand you:
- Why power is never taken — only recognised, and how to engineer that recognition
- The four types of power operating in every room — and why using the wrong one explains every ceiling you have hit
- How Chanakya built the world's first intelligence network — and what it has in common with modern AI
- Why the war you win costs you more than the alliance you never tried to build
- How to read the real politics of any organisation — using the same map Chanakya drew 23 centuries ago
- The difference between ambition that builds empires and ambition that destroys careers
- Why the leader who rules by fear rules only until they sleep
- How to neutralise rivals without becoming them — what Chanakya did with the man who publicly humiliated him
- The only kind of power that outlives the person who held it
This is not philosophy. This is a working instrument — the sword of ancient wisdom, placed in your hands for the world you are actually navigating today.
The sword was given to you the moment you were born. This book teaches you how to wield it wisely.
