Aethelburg was never supposed to exist in more than one history.
Now its timelines are beginning to collide.
After the events of the first book, Alex and his companions discover that the damage to the temporal structure is far greater than they imagined. Different versions of Aethelburg are bleeding into one another, bringing people, technology, memories, and events from conflicting histories into the same world.
At the center of the crisis is the shattered celestial clock and the mysterious fragments scattered throughout the temporal network.
But someone else is searching for them.
An ancient figure known as the Weaver believes the timelines were never meant to remain separated. To restore what was lost, he is willing to manipulate entire populations, sacrifice innocent lives, and challenge the very foundations of history.
As Alex, Elara, and Kael follow the trail from the depths beneath Aethelburg to a forgotten temple hidden in the mountains, they uncover a secret that changes everything they thought they knew about the first fracture—and about Alex himself.
The Time Spinner may not have chosen Alex by accident.
And the greatest danger may not be the collapse of the timelines.
It may be the person who gets to decide what replaces them.
The hourglass is broken. The timelines are converging. And this time, history is waiting for Alex to choose.
