Arthur Edward Waite (1857 - 1942) was a mystic whose writings focused on the occult. He designed and co-creator of the world's most popular tarot deck - the Rider Waite Smith. His accompanying book to Pamela Colman Smith's famous paintings gave spiritual guidance and insight into esoteric ideas as well as outlining how to use tarot cards.
