A former software engineer, he co-founded a Cloud Native consultancy in 2014 and has since led transformation programs across industries—from platform engineering and SRE practices to Team Topologies and change management. Over the last decade he has guided dozens of companies through the shift to Cloud Native, accelerating software delivery while reducing operational risk and preparing teams for the AI Native era.
Michael Müller has spent more than two decades at the forefront of the cloud revolution, guiding organizations through one of the most significant technological paradigm shifts in modern business history. His senior leadership roles were defined by steering organizations through the complexities of technology transitions, giving him a deep understanding of the foundational logic that underpins successful transformation. As a recognized authority on large-scale technological change, his focus has always been on not just driving technical progress, but ensuring its strategic alignment and long-term business impact. Waves of Innovation is the culmination of this experience, offering executives a strategic framework built on a rare understanding of how to lead when the ground is shifting beneath your feet.
