(vii), 316pp. Spine compartments gilt lined with gilt lettered red morocco label. Title page vignette & two others as well as decorative head & tail-pieces throughout. No half title. A portion of the title page torn from head fore corner with loss to text; most of T & ION of COLLECTION & a part of R & most of Y of POETRY.18th century owner's name at head of advertisement leaf. Front hinge slightly tender but secure. Edges of boards a little rubbed & bumped.

We stock :- Antiquarian, Modern, Scholarly, Small & Private Press books, Poetry in translation and bilingual texts, Beat Poetry, War Poetry, Illustrated Poetry, Biography, Women's poetry, Old & Middle English, Humorous Poetry, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Love poetry, Anthologies, Criticism Back issue Magazines and much more.We do not have all our stock listed on here at present currently around 50K titles in store so if you cannot find the poetry title that you are looking for either NEW, USED or ANTIQUARIAN please contact us and we will be happy to check on our shelves. We offer a free no obligation BOOKSEARCH SERVICE.The Poetry Bookshop was opened in Hay in the 1970's by Anne Stevenson and Michael Farley. Alan Halsey ran it from 1980 to the late 90's and the present owners Chris & Melanie Prince took over in 1998. OPENING HOURS: AUGUST 2025 THURS - SAT 10.30am - 5pm GMT SUN-WEDS CLOSED.
