These documents form a report on how to expand the activities of the ''Compagnie Priviligiée de Trieste et Fiume'' in e.g. the trade of lumber. This company was founded by Charles Proli and received the imperial patent on October 1st 1750. It existed until 1828. ( see Denucé, Antwerps Archievenblad 2e reeks, 7 , 1932 nr.1). On this history of Proli's business initiatives see at length '' Charles Proli , Antwerps zakenman en bankier 1723 - 1786.'' Study by H.
