Antitrust litigation has become extremely complex and not all jurisdictions have adopted the same rules. The Compendium of Antitrust Damages Actions was developed to bring clarity and guidance in an area of law that is in constant evolution. It aims to profile the legal regime related to antitrust damages actions in a variety of important jurisdictions by providing an overview of the key legal principles - organized around 9 topics and completed in some jurisdictions by an additional section highlighting key issues. With references to nearly 350 court cases, the Compendium is a unique tool for all economic actors - antitrust experts and non-experts alike - and was designed to address the concerns of both multinational companies and SMEs that may be exposed to, or already involved in, antitrust litigation. It provides details on the method of calculating damages in numerous jurisdictions as well as the amount of damages awarded, to increase companies' understanding and awareness of the issue. Courts will be able to see what courts in other jurisdictions have decided on a given issue, which may contribute to a greater consistency and, within the European Union, to enhance integration. This compendium is also intended to support competition authorities by giving them a general view on the consequences of their decisions. By providing decision-makers with a comparative overview of the issues most frequently arising in private antitrust litigation in key jurisdictions, we hope to help them navigate through a new, fast-changing legal environment. Informazioni sull’autore
François Brunet is a member of the Bar in Paris and is admitted to practice before the European Court of Justice and the European General Court. François Brunet was a partner at Hogan Lovells after a 26-year career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, based in the Paris office. His practice focused on EU and French competition law. François Brunet has represented clients in a number of cartel/monopolization investigations and transactions in the television, cable, car equipment, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cement, paper and other industries. He is widely published on various aspects of EU and French competition law and is distinguished as a leading competition/antitrust lawyer by Chambers Global The World’s Leading Lawyers and The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers. He co-authored “La pratique communautaire du contrôle des concentrations” (De Boeck, Brussels) with Antoine Winckler and Mario Siragusa. He also co-edited with Guy Canivet, former Chief Justice of the French Cour de Cassation, an EU Competition Law Handbook (“Le nouveau droit communautaire de la concurrence”). François Brunet is the President of the Competition Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (French Committee) and a member of the board of directors of the Association des Avocats pratiquant le Droit de la Concurrence. Mr. Brunet graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure in 1989 and from the Ecole HEC in 1990 (Master’s in International Finance), and received law degrees from the University of Paris II in 1992 (DEA).
Sarina Williams is a Partner in the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations team in London and Co-Head of the firm’s Competition Litigation practice. She is also Chair of the ICC Global Competition Commission’s Task Force on Antitrust Damages Claims.
Caroline Inthavisay is in charge of the ICC Commission on Competition at the ICC Global Headquarters based in Paris. Her role since she joined the ICC Department of Policy and Business Practices in 2007 is to identify and analyse policy issues affecting international trade and investment and to oversee the development of rules and policy recommendations to promote business self-regulation and best practices. She was also involved in other policy areas at ICC such as Transport & Logistics and Anti-Corruption.

Il periodo di recesso scade dopo 14 giorni dal giorno in cui tu o una terza parte, diversa dal vettore e da te indicata, acquisisce il possesso fisico dell'ultimo bene o dell'ultimo lotto o pezzo.
Per esercitare il diritto di recesso, compila e invia elettronicamente una dichiarazione esplicita sul nostro sito Web, alla voce “I miei acquisti” nella sezione “Mio account”. Ti comunicheremo senza indugio una conferma di ricezione di tale recesso su un supporto durevole (ad es. via e-mail).
Per rispettare il termine di recesso, è sufficiente inviare la comunicazione relativa all'esercizio del diritto di recesso prima della scadenza del periodo di recesso stesso.
Effetti del recesso
In caso di recesso dal presente contratto, ti rimborseremo tutti i pagamenti ricevuti, compresi i costi di spedizione (ad eccezione dei costi supplementari derivanti dalla tua eventuale scelta di un tipo di spedizione diverso dal tipo meno costoso di consegna standard da noi offerto).
Potremo effettuare una detrazione dal rimborso per la perdita di valore dei beni forniti, qualora tale perdita sia il risultato di una manipolazione non necessaria da parte tua.

Dovrai rispedire i beni o consegnarli a GreatBookPrices, Bensenville, Illinois, U.S.A., senza indebito ritardo e, in ogni caso, entro 14 giorni dal giorno in cui ci hai comunicato la tua volontà di recedere dal presente contratto. Il termine è rispettato se rispedisci i beni prima della scadenza del periodo di 14 giorni. I costi diretti della restituzione dei beni saranno a tuo carico. Sei responsabile solo della diminuzione del valore dei beni risultante da una manipolazione diversa da quella necessaria per stabilire la natura, le caratteristiche e il funzionamento dei beni stessi.

Il diritto di recesso non si applica a:
