Two volumes in one.The only date given is 1848 on the copyright page. But this appears to be later. There is a gift inscription in ink from Christmas 1875 on the first blank end sheet, and this to be more suggestive of the actual printing date. Bound in full calf with a black leather spine title label. Light wear to the top of the spine and along both outer hinges. We have treated the leather with a professional book conservator's leather dressing to good effect. No distortion of the book from reading or improper shelving. Pages are tight and clean with no marks. gift inscription in ink already noted. No odor. No water damage. No soiling. No sun fading. Photos available upon request. Codice articolo MP20-903Z
