The second volume extends the scope to nonlinear differential equations and systems of equations modelling a variety of phenomena such as reaction-diffusion, fluid flow and many-body dynamics, and reaches the frontiers of research. An approach to teaching computational mathematics based on a fusion of mathematical analysis, numerical computation and applications. It is designed to be used within a calculus stream of an applied mathematics or engineering curriculum, enabling analytic, computational and modelling methods to be taught hand in hand.
