xi, 546p., presswork on excellent paper, alkaline and lightweight allowing for a comparatively slender volume, hardbound in 7x5 inch maroon cloth boards gilt and blind. Hinges are sound although outer surfaces (joints) are a bit abraded and rear joint has developed an inch-long split. General edgewear with a touch of fray at both rims, old inked ownership signature on front free endpaper and a different signature across the title page, plus -taped onto rear pastedown- an old presentation card, signed, in the German language. A good (good-only) copy, fully serviceable.
