I was skeptical at first with this book, only because I have tried so many others. But this book geniously concentrates on centric words spoken in the Spanish language. I have only had it no more then three months, and I am able to have conversations with my Hispanic friends, and help customers at my job that only speak Spanish. In the beginning of the book it gives you clear directions, you cannot go wrong. But you need to be honest with the time you devote on a daily basis to learn a new language. I decided to dedicate 30 minutes everyday to one page. And I just followed the directions to the letter. And I can't believe how even now I can understand music, TV, and conversations around me in Spanish. I have ordered this book for my kids. Best investment.

I've always wanted to learn a second language. I took Spanish classes in high school but it never really stuck once I was out of school. Finally, I've found a method that works. This book was great in helping me learn Spanish. It's very well written and easy to understand. Nitzany's method follows the idea that there are only about 350 words that you really need to know in order to gain a basic understanding of any language. It really doesn't take long once you get the hang of it. I ordered and received this book just a few weeks ago and I'm already able to hold basic conversations with my Spanish speaking friends.
