Do you ever feel distant from Allah, even though you still long for closeness?
Do you ever whisper a question to the heavens and wait… quietly… for an answer?
There are moments when the heart speaks to Allah without formality, without rehearsed words, and without certainty—only with need.
Conversations with Allah: The Al-Samīʿ is a deeply reflective spiritual companion for anyone who has ever turned inward and reached upward at the same time.
This book offers 365 intimate, soul-centered conversations, one for each day of the year. Every entry follows a gentle and powerful structure:
- A heartfelt question from a believer
- A compassionate response inspired by Qur’anic wisdom and Islamic spirituality
- A short self-reflection prompt to help you turn inward and engage Allah in your own words
Across twelve thematic months, the journey moves through awakening the heart, inner struggle, patience, forgiveness, love, worship, resilience, purpose, and closeness to Allah. Each page reassures the reader of a simple truth: Allah hears. Allah knows. Allah is near.
The responses are not presented as revelation, but as spiritually grounded reflections shaped by the Qur’an and Prophetic teachings written to sound intimate, comforting, and real. This makes the book ideal for readers seeking connection rather than commentary.
Why this daily format works (a note from research)
Modern psychology has repeatedly found that structured reflection, especially practices that center gratitude, meaning, and calm attention is associated with improved well-being and reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression. (This book’s daily reflection prompts are designed to support that same kind of steady inner grounding—while keeping the focus rooted in faith.)
Before you begin… and what you may notice over time
Before: your du’a feels scattered, your heart feels heavy, you overthink what Allah thinks of you, and you don’t know where to start.
After (with consistent reading): your inner world becomes quieter, your words become simpler, your questions become more honest, and your relationship with Allah feels more present not because life becomes perfect, but because you return to Him more easily.
Inside you’ll discover:
- A daily way to speak to Allah with sincerity, even when you feel unsure, tired, or emotionally overwhelmed.
- Language that helps you move from “I don’t know what to say” to a clear, personal du’a—one day at a time.
- Twelve monthly themes that guide your heart through patience, forgiveness, worship, resilience, purpose, and closeness to Allah.
- Reflection prompts that help you recognize patterns like guilt, fear, numbness, and doubt—and gently redirect them toward tawakkul, hope, and steadiness.
- A quiet practice you can use before Fajr, before sleep, or in the moments when life feels heavy—so faith becomes something you return to, not something you only think about.
This is not a replacement for the Qur’an or prayer. It is a companion for the heart—a reminder that Allah listens to every whisper, every doubt, and every unspoken prayer.
A year from now, you may find that the questions have softened, the heart has steadied, and the relationship has deepened—not because every answer was given, but because you learned to trust the One who answers.

Descrizione dello Store
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
