Braden is super excited to go to the Fun Zone with his brother and parents. He knows what he wants - to drive the go-carts for the first time ever! And when the guy behind the track tells him it's not that big of a deal because he can ride with a parent, Braden loses his temper and shouts It IS a big deal! I hate this place! Braden's mum helps him realise that throwing a temper tantrum doesn't help anyone. She teaches him the steps for calming down so he can think of a way to make the situation better. Bryan began his career as an elementary school teacher before realizing he had a talent for helping children deal with difficult issues and became a school counselor. He is the author of the Executive FUNction book series, including What Were You Thinking? and My Day is Ruined! His books teach kids life skills that will take them far and help them succeed. He is married and has two children.
