Hardcover/gebunden. Condizione: leichte Gebrauchsspuren. Cracking the Apocalypse Code by Gerard Bodson purports to unlock the secrets of the biblical book of Revelation and argues that Armageddon may be closer than you think. Using an ancient coding system called "gematria" that generates correspondences between letters and numbers, Bodson finds a detailed prophesy of World War II buried in Revelation. (One of the book's contentions is that Revelation refers to two Beasts marked with "666"--the first, according to "gematria," is identified as Hitler. The second, Bodson argues, is among us now.) Looking forward, Bodson believes Revelation also contains specific prophesies identifying the following facts: the date on which World War III will begin; the developing nation that will achieve world domination; the fate of America in the final days; and the time when the Middle East will achieve peace. Bodson says that he unlocked the "apocalypse code" with the help of a French semiologist, an English computer specialist, a Greek historian, and a theologian from Israel. They originally planned to keep their findings secret, fearing mass panic; but when their coding method prophesied recent international events that actually occurred, they decided to release this fascinating book.
