Amelia Harper has spent six years telling herself she remembers exactly why Flynn Callahan belongs in her past.
She remembers the breakup. She remembers the distance. She remembers watching the boy she had loved since childhood choose a future that no longer seemed to include her.
What she has conveniently forgotten is everything that came before.
Now thirty, struggling to keep her family’s beloved video store alive, Amelia learns that Flynn has returned to Coral Cove. Worse, her brother thinks he may be exactly the person who can help save Rewind Rentals.
Before Amelia can decide whether she wants Flynn anywhere near her store, she finds herself inside The Arcane Room, where a drawn tarot card and a mysterious cup of tea offer something far more dangerous than advice.
The Six of Cups gives her the past.
Not the neat version she has been carrying for six years, but all of it.
Childhood nights beneath the stars. The first moment friendship became something more. Carnival lights and jealousy. Long-distance phone calls. Bad vampire glitter. Dorm rooms, whispered laughter, hungry reunions, secret desires, painful goodbyes, and all the ordinary moments that once made a future together feel inevitable.
As Amelia moves through the memories she buried, softened, or rewrote, one truth becomes impossible to ignore: Flynn was never only the man who left.
And she was never only the woman he hurt.
Their love was messy, deeply intimate, imperfect, funny, passionate, and real.
Now Amelia must decide what to do with the most dangerous thing the Six of Cups can give her: not another chance at the past, but the willingness to discover who Flynn has become.
Sensual, emotional, and infused with tarot magic, Six of Cups is a deeply intimate romance about first love, heartbreak, desire, memory, and learning that moving forward doesn’t require pretending the past meant nothing.
Edition Note: This book was originally published in a much shorter form and has been substantially revised and expanded into a full-length novel, with significant new material throughout. Readers who previously purchased the original Kindle edition may check their Kindle library or Amazon’s “Manage Your Content and Devices” page for available updates. Readers who prefer the original short-story version can still find it in the paperback collection, "Tarot Fantasies Books 1–4."
