80 large size Currier & Ives prints. Editor designed book to include many aspects of American life from rural to urban, from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Some prints never before reproduced in color. An introduction & pages commentary throughout written by Colin Simkin. Black cloth spine & blue paper colored boards. Gilt title on spine. Back end papers have slight 3"x3" area of warping, but no discoloration. Dust jacket has 3 tears along bottom edge, 1-2" long on front and 2 tears on back (1/2" & 4"), also some warping & discoloration on back of dj. Inventory #23032 Size: 12 x 16.
