TO THE INVADERS, THE EARTH IS BUT A TOY…
It’s 1976 and every family in America looks forward to Friday nights to tune into their favorite TV show: Adventure Command! Each episode of the series details the famous team’s battles with an unearthly foe known only as the Invaders, an alien race bent on conquering the planet once it retrieves strange and mysterious artifacts from across the country that will aid in its invasion! D.C. Jones and his men must stop them—but when the enemy is not of this world, will Adventure Command’s famous equipment and experience be enough?
Today, Adventure Command is a “lost” classic, a show nearly forgotten, even by those who watched it in the 1970s. No film, tapes, or scripts are known to exist, making the series one of television’s greatest one-season mysteries—until now! D.C. Jones and Adventure Command International 4 features recently unearthed novelizations of six episodes of the show, offering an unprecedented look into its characters, situations, and set pieces. It’s one of the greatest finds in TV history!
Buckle up for a white-knuckle ride with the team as they clash again and again with the Invaders across the United States, fighting valiantly to stop the aliens’ underhanded possession of innocent civilians and risking their own lives to protect our planet from complete subjugation!
