Her books include Always a Princess (Disney Princess), Dog Days (The Secret Life of Pets), and Meet Maui (Disney Moana). She lives in New York City with her husband and their daughter.

Terry Izumi is the director and animator of the PBS Kids TV series Dinosaur Train. His illustrations of characters from the show are featured in the children’s book Dinosaurs A to Z. He also worked on the 3-D film Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil. Izumi lives in Los Angeles, California.
